The Adrian College chapter of national dramatic honorary society, Theta Alpha Phi, presents the world premieres of one-act plays written by Adrian College students. This year’s plays are:
Divine Intervention by Ronald Parker ‘11
Directed by L. Ashley Greer '12
When Shannon wakes up the morning of her 23rd birthday, she hopes that she won't be forgotten this time. If her parents forget it'll just be redundant to the rest of her life. As long as her long time best friend Sebastian finally becomes more than a friend she truly will have a happy birthday. But, the most polite of awakenings meets Shannon in the most desperate time of her life and will change her life forever.
Open Your Eyes by Bridget Dill ‘12
Directed by Alisha Brink '12
Megan meets Radley while visiting her brother in the hospital. Radley suffers from leukemia, a disease that has afflicted him for a large portion of his life, but Megan finds that does not stop his vigor for life. In this show, Megan comes to find what it is to truly live life to the fullest and what it really means to be revolutionary.
These plays will be presented in the Downs Hall Theatre with all three performances at 8:00pm. Admission is $5.00.
