COLLEGE STUDENTS PERFORM IN “SWEET CHARITY”
posted 10/26/06
ADRIAN, Mich. – The Adrian
College Theatre Department is pleased to announce its
fall musical, “Sweet Charity,” which will
play in Dawson Auditorium on the Adrian College campus
from Nov. 2 through Nov. 4.
This Broadway
musical is the story of a trusting, generous and naïve
dance hall hostess in search of that special someone.
With spectacular musical numbers such as “Big
Spender,” “Rhythm of Life” and “I’m
a Brass Band,” and the hilarious comic
writing of America’s favorite playwright, Neil
Simon, this production promises to be a special treat
at Adrian College’s annual Family Weekend.
Adrian College has active music and
theatre programs. This performance benefits from the
College’s musical theatre majors and minors, in
addition to many student performers from many other
academic areas.
The musical will play in Dawson Auditorium
at 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 2 through Saturday, Nov. 4.
Tickets are $10 for the general public and $7 for students.
Further information may be obtained by calling (517)
264-3922.
