PETER PATCHEN EXHIBIT ON DISPLAY AT ADRIAN COLLEGE posted 10/28/04

An exhibit by Peter Patchen, an artist who works with installation and digital images, will be on display in Stubnitz Gallery from Nov. 8 through Dec. 11.

Peter Frank Patchen is a digital artist exhibiting and lecturing nationally and internationally. He grew up in Colorado where the natural environment had a profound influence on his perception of the relationships that exist between nature, humanity, culture and technology. After graduating from the University of Colorado in Colorado Springs, he earned a master of fine arts degree from the University of Oregon. Currently, he is an associate professor of art at the University of Toledo, where he founded the Cyber Arts Program.

Stubnitz Gallery is located in Downs Hall. Gallery hours are Monday through Saturday noon to 4 p.m., and Thursday from noon to 9 p.m.The gallery will be closed for Thanksgiving break Nov. 23 through Nov. 28. For further information, contact gallery director Pi Benio at 517-264-3901.
