STUBNITZ GALLERY HOSTS ‘SENIOR EXHIBITION II’
Exhibit showcases the work of Adrian College art seniors

Adrian College announces the second of four senior exhibitions showcasing the abilities of seniors in the art department. This exhibition will feature work by Clay Leonard, Stacey O’Morrow, Courteney Payeur and Misty Jensen. They work in a variety of media including photography, ceramics, prints, and painting.

Stubnitz Gallery is located in Downs Hall on Madison Street on the Adrian College campus. The show will be open to the public March 6-18. The normal gallery hours are Monday though Saturday 9-4 p.m. and Thursday 9-9 p.m. A reception is scheduled Sunday, March 12 from 2-4 p.m.

Clay Leonard will be graduating in April 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts in studio art. He has a variety of artistic talents but focuses on decorative, functional pottery. Leonard has shown in a number of annual exhibitions including the juried student show, and the Michigan Small Colleges Exhibit. He has demonstrated throwing at Adrian College’s family weekend, and Lenawee Live.

Stacey O’Morrow’s concentration is photography. Working with a 35 mm camera and a computer, she has shown in a variety of exhibitions including juried student exhibitions, Michigan Small Colleges Exhibit, as well as local exhibitions hosted by the Lenawee Council of Visual Arts (LCVA). O’Morrow will be graduating in April 2006 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in studio art.

Courteney Payeurs’ preferred mediums are painting and photography. Her interests vary from self-portraits to hardware. As a member of the LCVA she has shown in local exhibitions. Payeur will be graduating in April 2006 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in studio art.

Misty Jensen will be graduating in April 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts in art management. She is a member of the LCVA and has shown work in local exhibitions, and Michigan Small Colleges Exhibit. Jensen works primarily in printmaking.
