ADRIAN, Mich. – Sax 4th Avenue, an innovative and entertaining saxophone quartet from the Toledo area, performs in Dawson Auditorium on the campus of Adrian College, Wednesday, January 11, at 7 P.M.
The program features compositions and arrangements by Music Department faculty member Pete Ford, plus jazz, fusion, and classical repertoire, as well as choreographed works. Sax 4th Avenue has been featured in performances with the Toledo and Lima symphonies and in such prestigious settings as the Midwest Band and Orchestra Clinic in Chicago and the US Navy Band Saxophone Symposium in Fairfax, VA; its members include faculty member Shannon Ford.
