ADRIAN, Mich. – S. Gary Spicer, Adrian College alumnus, will speak on a career working with national athletes. Spicer, a reputable attorney has worked with such clients as Alan Trammell, Kirk Gibson, and Ernie Harwell. This event will take place in the Heritage Room in Shipman Library at 7:30 P.M. on Wednesday, February 22, 2012.
Mr. Spicer has served as an attorney in the Detroit region, acting as Corporate Legal Counsel to many professional athletes and entertainers. He served on the Adrian College Board of Trustees as an at-large member from 1982-1994, and received an honorary degree from Adrian College, the Doctor of Laws, in 1992. He was a 1996 inductee into the Adrian College Athletic Hall of Fame.
This unique event will be held in conjunction with the exhibit of Detroit Tigers memorabilia currently on display the in Shipman Library Heritage Room through the end of the month. The event is free and open to the public, however space is limited and reserved on a first-come first-serve basis.
