Adrian students have watched construction crews bang away at Ridge Student Center since the project began in the spring of 2003. Many have seen conceptual sketches; maybe they’ve even had a tour or two along the way. But it didn’t really hit home until they saw the finished product this fall.

Now students will help celebrate Ridge during a formal dedication ceremony scheduled on Oct. 5 at 5:45 p.m. It will take place during a reception in the building from 5 to 6:30 p.m. In addition to students, the ceremony will involve faculty and staff, alumni, and friends of the College. The President’s Dinner, an annual invitation-only event to recognize friends and supporters of Adrian College, is scheduled on campus at 6:45 p.m.

This summer Adrian College finished the project to transform the former Ridge Gymnasium into a fully modern, 24-hour student center. (more)
