PRESENTS RELIGIOUS AWARENESS WEEK posted
10/6/03
The Religious Life Council (RLC) at
Adrian College will host its annual Religious Life Awareness
week Monday, Oct. 13 through Friday, Oct. 17. All events
are free and open to the public.
The week kicks off with a coffeehouse
in Rush Union at 8 p.m. It is sponsored by Triple D
Coffeehouse in the city of Adrian. Then on Wednesday
the Praise Team will offer a time of worship in the
chapel at 8:30 p.m. It will be a very informal worship
with snacks provided.
The week continues with "Causin'
a Ruckus." Cool Hand Luke and their opening act
will begin the free concert at 7:30 p.m. in the chapel.
The week comes to a conclusion with the Gospel Explosion:
"Let's Praise," which is a combination of
guest gospel choirs that will perform in the Adrian/Tobias
Room from 7 p.m. until midnight.
The week is packed with exciting activities
designed specifically to get students more involved
in Religious Life events on campus, but events will
also be fun and beneficial for anyone who attends.
