Every summer most Adrian College students miss one of the most exciting and inspiring annual events in Lenawee County: Relay for Life. To fix the problem, some students decided to plan their own last year. They did it again this year.

Adrian sponsored a Campus Relay for Life in conjunction with the American Cancer Society on Tuesday, Oct. 22. The event was scheduled from 6 to 10 p.m. on the mall, the grassy strip at the center of campus. It was modeled after the larger American Cancer Society event in early August, though was not as much a fund-raiser as it is an opportunity for students. It included a victory lap for cancer survivors and memorial luminaries. Adrian College invited cancer survivors to come to the campus and walk with students.
