''STARS OF WINTER' PLANNED AT PLANETARIUM posted 1/13/04

The Robinson Planetarium at Adrian College proudly presents “Stars of Winter.”

The brightest stars of the year now dominate the night sky, constituting the "winter circlet." Each of these seven stars belongs to one of the bright constellations of winter. Names of several of these stars are also characters in J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter books. Several planets can be observed in this sky without the aid of a telescope.

All shows are free and are scheduled at 7 p.m. on the following dates:
Friday, Jan. 16
Friday, Jan. 23

The planetarium is located in Peelle Hall at the corner of Charles and Williams streets. All shows free and open to public. For more information, contact Dr. Sarah Hanson at 517-264-3944.
