'STARS OF SPRING' PLANNED AT PLANETARIUM posted 3/9/04

The Robinson Planetarium at Adrian College proudly presents "Stars of Spring."

Few truly bright stars decorate the spring night sky. The three brightest belong to constellations that are somewhat challenging to locate, but among the richest in sky mythology in what was a very important season to the ancients. Using our imaginations, we also find patterns from cultures not so familiar to us, including a Polynesian pattern of a large fish made from the Greek stars of Cassiopeia, the Queen.

The free shows are scheduled at 7 p.m. on the following dates:
Friday, March 26
Friday, April 16
Friday, April 30
Friday, May 7
Friday, May 28

The planetarium is located in Peelle Hall at the corner of Charles and Williams streets. All shows free and open to public. For more information, contact Dr. Sarah Hanson at 517-264-3944.
