'FOLLOW THE DRINKING GOURD' PLANNED AT PLANETARIUM posted 2/3/04

The Robinson Planetarium at Adrian College proudly presents "Follow the Drinking Gourd."

The book "Follow the Drinking Gourd" by Jeanette Winter is the basis for this planetarium show. It will take you on a journey back in time to learn how constellations helped slaves successfully find their way to freedom using the Underground Railroad. This program is geared toward children, and is wonderful to share with family and friends.

The free shows are scheduled at 7 p.m. on the following dates:
Thursday, Feb. 5
Saturday, Feb. 21
Wednesday, Feb. 25
