'STARS OF AUTUMN' PLANNED AT PLANETARIUM posted 9/19/03

The Robinson Planetarium at Adrian College proudly presents “The Stars of Autumn.”

The stars of summer are being slowly pushed to the west, making way for the stars of autumn. Mars is high in the southern sky, and the Big Dipper begins its dive into the northwestern sky. Join us as we explore the patterns and myths of the autumn sky and spend a few minutes talking about the many faces of the “Big Dipper.”

The free shows are scheduled at 7 p.m. on the following dates:
Friday, Oct. 3
Friday, Oct. 17
Friday, Nov. 7
Friday, Nov. 21
Friday, Dec. 12

The planetarium is located in Peelle Hall at the corner of Charles and Williams streets. All shows free and open to public. For more information, contact Dr. Sarah Hanson at 517-264-3944.
