ANNOUNCES NEW MULTICULTURAL DIRECTOR posted

Meet Antoinette Gray, who took over as director of multicultural
programs Aug. 19.
“I’m very excited to be here, and I’m very
excited about this position,” Gray said. “Diversity
and multicultural issues are a passion of mine.”
Antoinette earned her bachelor's degree from Olivet College,
a law degree from Thomas Cooley Law School and is a doctoral
student in the educational leadership program at Western Michigan
University. She held various positions at Olivet College including
director of the women's center, resident director, Greek advisor,
admissions counselor, faculty member in social sciences and
director of the criminal justice program.
“Expect new and exciting things out of this office
– things that will not only help students, but the entire
campus culture, to allow it to advance and form even stronger
bonds,” Gray said.
Of all of Gray’s career experiences, she has found
that student affairs is most meaningful to her.
“For me, what is the most fulfilling is working with
students outside of the classroom,” she said. “I’ve
found that’s where I can have the greatest impact.”
