ADRIAN, MI. – Adrian College continues to “Unleash Creativity” on campus with the addition of a Pet Parade to its usual homecoming activities.
Bring your ‘creatively’ dressed pet to participate in the festivities for your chance to win a $100 prize. Fun for the whole family, the parade begins at 1:00pm and will follow Maumee Street to Madison Street, back to Michigan Ave to Charles Street, concluding at Creehan Lane on campus. Interested participants should be prepared to meet at the Little Caesars parking lot on West Maumee Street. Judging will take place at the conclusion of the parade on Madison Street by the Herrick Belltower with an award for the “Most Creatively Dressed” pet.
For those who are unable to participate, bring your lawn chairs and enjoy the parade which is scheduled to include local police and fire departments, various student organizations from the College, area marching bands, community members, local politicians, the Shriners Keystone Kops, area chapters of Boy and Girl Scouts; other youth programs, and more.
