Military Appreciation Day Saturday, September 11, 2010 Multisport Performance Stadium
Adrian College recognizes U.S. military veterans and active service personnel at their first home football game of the season.
If you are a veteran or active service man or woman, and you reside in Lenawee County and/or are an AC employee or AC alum, this is your special invitation to Military Appreciation Day.
Military persons and one guest are welcome to the pre-game picnic, program and recognition as well as the football game free of charge in honor of your service.
SCHEDULE
3 - 5:15 pm Registration
~ Static displays of military vehicles nearby
4 - 5:15 pm Picnic/Remarks (buffet; arrive no later than 4:45)
4 - 7 pm Donkey & Elephant rides, lawn next to Arrington Ice Arena
5:30 pm Line Up & Field Recognition (arrive by 5:15 for line up)
6 pm AC Football vs. Defiance College
~ Halftime Special Announcement/Tribute by AC Marching Band; On-field fireworks
The community is also welcome to attend the football game (General Admission $5; Seniors over 60 and children under 10 $3) at the gate and recognize our special guests during the pregame and throughout the game. Attendees are encouraged to wear red, white and blue for the event. Gates open at 5 pm.

Registration tables will be south of the Stadium Gates.
Picnic will be in the Thomas Pavilion, west of the stadium entrance gates

Care package donations for current U.S. Troops stationed abroad will be collected at the gates near the stadium on Saturday, September 11! Donations can also be made by mail from Monday, September 6, through Monday, September 13, please send any donations to:
