MILER AWARDED ONE-PERSON SHOW posted 11/18/02

Anthony Miler (Camden-Frontier H.S., Osseo) was awarded an Outstanding Underclassman Exhibit award for his work in the 2002 Adrian College Student Art Exhibition. The one-person show will run in the Heritage Room in Shipman Library Nov. 18 through Dec. 20. Shipman Library hours are Sunday noon to 11 p.m., Monday through Thursday 8 a.m. to 11 p.m., Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Heritage Room exhibit will include such works as, "A State of Belonging" (charcoal), "Found, Fragmented, Basic Fantasy" (collage), "Untitled Abstract" (alabaster) and "Celtic Chair" (steel and copper).

Miler also received the $700 Oxbow Study Award at the student exhibition.

Miler is a sophomore majoring in art, is a 2001 graduate of Camden-Frontier High School and is the son of Tim and Deborah Miler.
