Makes $75,000 Gift for Ice Arena

An area business has made a $75,000
contribution to Adrian College’s proposed ice
arena.
The business has chosen to remain
anonymous.
“This gift is more evidence
of the community’s level of support for this project,”
President Docking said. “Business leaders are
making it clear that they believe in our vision for
using this facility to improve Adrian College and the
greater community.”
The president recently announced that
the College was $1 million shy of the $5.5 million needed
for the community’s only indoor ice arena. Since
then, donors have stepped forward with gifts that, in
addition to this latest gift, total $325,000.
“We’re grateful
for this latest donation. Every dollar that comes in
brings us that much closer to our goal,” Docking
said. “With only $675,000 left to go, we are that
much more anxious to actually break ground,” Docking
said.
