ADRIAN, MI. – A celebration of creativity and entrepreneurism continues at this year’s fall convocation as Patrick Farver, a local successful businessman and philanthropist, is set to speak on September 22nd, 2011. Farver’s speech entitled, “Developing a Philosophy, Experience and Attitude Toward Success,” is scheduled for 12:00 PM in the Herrick Chapel. This unique event is open to the entire campus community and the public is invited. There is no cost to attend.
Patrick D. Farver was named CEO of Michigan-based Blissfield Manufacturing having served in multiple capacities within the organization. Blissfield Manufacturing has been a domestic and international product leader in the manufacture of heat exchangers, oil coolers, condensers, evaporators and receiver tanks. Leaders in the markets of Automotive, Off Highway Vehicles, Commercial & Beverage Refrigeration; Assembly & Contract Brazing; Sheet Metal Fabrication. The founding philosophy is maintained throughout the company history and through the core values of honesty, integrity, trust, and respect.
Farver holds degrees from both University of Miami and the University of Michigan School of Business. Farver currently serves on the board of directors of United Bank & Trust; Lenawee Chamber Foundation; ProMedica; Lenawee Education Foundation; Boy’s & Girl’s Club. He is also affiliated with the United Way and the Bixby Foundation.
