MOHR TO SPEAK AT CONVOCATION posted 8/20/03

Adrian College alumna Kathryn Mohr will speak at this year’s Convocation ceremony, scheduled at 11:30 a.m. Aug. 27 in the Adrian College Chapel. It is free and open to the public.

Mohr is a partner at the regional law firm of Robison, Curphey & O’Connell in Toledo. She is a 1984 graduate of Adrian College.

The Convocation ceremony is a tradition that marks the beginning of the academic year. It also begins the Convocation speaker series, which every year brings in speakers as diverse as brain scholars, authors, TV news journalists, and Hollywood producers.

The ceremony will include the 2003 faculty awards, which recognize outstanding teaching at Adrian College.

Classes start Aug. 25.
