Chemistry professor Todd Hamilton published an article called “Computers in Science: Thinking Outside the Discipline” in the February 2003 edition of the Journal of College Science Teaching. He also published an article in the May issue of Teaching Professor, which was titled “Personal Student References Improve Learning.”

Political science professor Muqtedar Khan authored five research papers during the academic year. The papers concerned various aspects of Islam and politics, and were published in the following sources: Routledge Encyclopedia of Politics and Government, The Brown Journal of World Affairs, Boston Review, “Religion and Immigration: Christian, Jewish and Muslim Experiences in the United States,” and “In Multiple Voices: Challenges and Opportunities for Islamic Peace Building After September 11.” He co-authored a sixth with Kamran Bokhari that was included in a work titled “Issues in Major Islamic Nations: A Reference Guide.”
