AC chaplain Rev. Chris Momany ’84 has been invited to become a regular contributor to The United Methodist Church’s premier adult Bible study resource, “Daily Bible Study.” The publication has a circulation of more than 40,000 and features daily scripture readings, along with detailed exegetical notes and commentary. Momany’s first series will focus on 1 and 2 Timothy and Titus, and will appear next summer.

Biology professor Jim Martin spent a month in Honduras this summer, conducting entomology research with a Faculty Research Grant. Although conditions were rustic – there was running water for only two hours a day, and many things reminded him of the 19th century – he says the trip was a great success, both culturally and scientifically. He developed ideas for new research, made new friends, improved his Spanish, and captured an estimated 3,000 Central American insects to add to AC’s collection.
