Congratulations to the 192 students who were eligible to graduate in the 2003 Adrian College commencement ceremony on April 27!

The commencement address, given by the Honorable Robert M. Ransom, was titled "Life's Miracles." Ransom is the Chief Judge of the Seventh Judicial Circuit Court in Genesee County. He was awarded a Doctor of Laws honorary degree. He earned his bachelor's degree at Adrian in 1959.

Dr. James H. Cone, the Charles A. Briggs Distinguished Professor of Systematic Theology at Union Theological Seminary in New York City, was awarded a Doctor of Humane Letters honorary degree. Rev. Steven J. Buck, pastor of Court Street United Methodist Church in Flint, Mich., was awarded a Doctor of Divinity honorary degree.
