COMEDIANS TO VISIT ADRIAN COLLEGE posted 3/5/03

Comedians Chris "Crazy Legs" Fonseca and Megan Mooney will perform at Adrian College on March 19 at 8 p.m. Between the two acts, there will be an open mic for Adrian College students.

Fonseca has appeared on many television shows, including "Late Night with David Letterman," "The Arsenio Hall Show," "Donahue," "Entertainment Tonight," and the "Today Show." He has also appeared at numerous nightclubs and colleges. Born with cerebral palsy, he does not let his disability stop him. He said in the Montreal Gazette that he sees himself as "a comedian who happens to have Cerebral Palsy."

Mooney was awarded the "Funniest Person in Austin" award in 1998. She just finished taping a Comcast Cable TV Comedy Production which features comics from around the country.

The event is free and open to the public. It will take place in the Adrian/Tobias room, located adjacent to Ritchie Dining Hall.
