ADRIAN, Mich. – The Adrian College Orchestra will make its debut performance at the annual Lessons & Carols Service on Sunday, December 4th. The 25-member orchestra will play familiar carols beginning at a pre-service concert at 7:00 PM in Herrick Chapel on the College campus. A formal service is set to follow at 7:30 PM.
The service music will be led by the 135-voice Adrian College Choir and Chamber Choir. A brass sextet and percussion are also scheduled to make an appearance. Biblical narrative and carols sung by the congregation add to the spirit of the season in this magical candlelight Christmas event.
The concert and service are free and open to the public. Doors open at 6:40 PM.
