ADRIAN, Mich. – Adrian College’s Chaplain and part-time professor of Philosophy and Religion, Christopher P. Momany has recently authored “Doing Good: A Grace-Filled Approach to Holiness”.
“The book is designed to be an accessible piece that links the Wesleyan tradition of holy love to social justice,” says author Momany. “Here love is considered a respect for the intrinsic worth of people.”
This book explores the meaning of love as it speaks to a relationship with God and a relationship with others, embracing the idea of holiness through the examination of such questions as the relationship to the moral law; a relationship to freedom; and, most important, the relationship to the very being of God.
Exploring Christianity in its purest form, this book refers to putting God’s love into action. Readers will find a four-session guide that helps to understand and embrace the Wesleyan understanding of holiness.
