Adrian College partners
with local boarding facility.

ADRIAN, Mich. – Students with
an interest in horses will be happy to hear that they
can now bring their horses with them when they come
to Adrian College.
The College has a new partnership
with Wolf Creek Stables in Adrian to offer boarding
facilities.
Wolf Creek Stables is one of the finest
equine facilities in the area. Less than a ten-minute
drive from campus, the 80-acre farm features a heated
indoor arena, large outdoor riding arenas, and trails.
For the price of boarding, students
can rest assured that their beloved horses are well
cared for when they don’t have time to ride. Each
horse will have its own state-of-the-art stall. Daily
turnout will ensure plenty of exercise. Stalls are cleaned
twice a day every day of the week, and all hay and shavings
are provided and are of superior quality.
Outdoors feature multiple paddocks
with heated waterers, two enclosed lunge rooms, a separate
feed barn, and a hot walker to exercise the horses.
This exceptional facility was originally
established by Richard and Lynette Merillat of Merillat
Industries. The Merillats donated it to Michigan State
University in 1996, and it is now under private ownership
as Wolf Creek Stables.
