Gift of Life Ball raises
money for Make-A-Wish Foundation of Michigan
ADRIAN, Mich. – Members of two
Adrian College organizations, ALPHA and the Mu Zeta
Chapter of Chi Omega, are coming together to offer the
Gift of Life Ball on Nov. 18 at 7 p.m.. The event will
help raise funds for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Michigan,
a nonprofit organization that grants wishes to children
with life-threatening illnesses.
The Gift of Life Ball is an annual
charity ball. This year all the proceeds from tickets
sales and donations will go to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
The event is scheduled in the Adrian/Tobias Room on
Adrian College’s campus. The attire is semi-formal.
ALPHA stands for African-American
Leaders Promoting Higher Achievement, and Chi Omega
is a sorority.
The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Michigan
is a chapter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of America,
the largest wish-granting organization in the world.
Since its inception in 1984, the Michigan chapter has
granted wishes to more than 4,600 children and their
families. More than 80 percent of Make-A-Wish expenditures
are directly related to program services. To learn more,
