Salon Now Open in Student Center
Ribbon-cutting for ‘110 Madison Ave.’ scheduled Oct. 4

ADRIAN, Mich. – A new hair and nail salon is now open for business in Caine Student Center.

The salon, called 110 Madison Ave., offers coloring, perms, upstyle, acrylic nails, foil highlights, waxing and tanning.

Although the facility is already up and running, it will be dedicated during a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10:45 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 4. Officials from the College and from the city - including the mayor – are scheduled to be there.

People who haven’t been in Caine recently will notice another big change. The Adrian College Bookstore is now located on the second story. Several big windows put in along the face of the store make the merchandise highly visible from the main floor.

Caine has been through a few facelifts over the years. Formerly Ridge Gymnasium, it was converted to a student center in the early 2000s. Its friendly ambiance offers students the chance to not only study or grab a bite to eat, but to spend time with friends and feel more at home.
