Adrian College's Convocation Series Begins post 8/30/10
First convocation with author Jonah Lehrer to take place on Sept. 8

Copies of Lehrer's book are now on sale in the Arrington Bookstore.

ADRIAN, Mich. - The opening convocation at Adrian College is with Jonah Lehrer, author of “How We Decide” and “Proust Was a Neuroscientist” on Wednesday, September 8 at noon in Herrick Chapel.

Jonah Lehrer is hailed as "an important new thinker" by “The Los Angeles Times. Captivating, accessible, and never dull, he talks about how we make decisions -- and how we can make better decisions.

"Lehrer ingeniously weaves neuroscience, sports, war, psychology, and politics into a fascinating tale of human decision making," says Dan Ariely (Predictably Irrational). "He makes us much wiser."

Johnah Lehrer is brought exclusively by The Lavin Company. Convocation is free and open to the public. Herrick Chapel is located on the Adrian College campus off of Charles St.  More information may be obtained by visiting www.adrian.edu .
