ADRIAN, Mich. – Adrian

during the 2008-2009 academic year.
Mustafa’s assignment

He will also act as a resource person on Arab
culture for the College community as well as

Adrian College applied last
fall to the Institute of International Education
which administers the Fulbright program to host
an FLTA. Ali was selected in April by a committee
of Adrian College faculty from a group of candidates
from several Arab countries such as Algeria,
Jordan, Oman, Syria and Tunisia.
The Fulbright Foreign Language
Teaching Assistant program is sponsored by the
U.S. Department of State to enable young educators
from around the world to improve their English
language proficiency and teaching skills. These
young educators also have the opportunity to
extend their knowledge of the cultures and customs
of the United States and enrich the communities
at American colleges and universities.
For more information about
the FLTA program, please contact Dr. Maher Mualla,
Adrian College FLTA supervisor by telephone
at 517-264-3930 or via e-mail at mmualla@adrian.edu.
