College Welcomes
Record Class posted 8/31/07
The numbers at Adrian College
tell an impressive story. According to the most
recent enrollment tally, fall enrollment for
freshmen and transfers is up 77 percent from
two years ago.
The unprecedented growth has
come as a result of the Renaissance Plan, which
Adrian College President Jeffrey R. Docking
launched soon after he arrived in July of 2005.
As of today (Aug. 31), 555
freshmen and 70 transfers have made deposits.
This is a 45 percent increase in enrollment
over Fall 2006, which itself represented a 22
percent increase over Fall 2005.
The Daily Telegram (Adrian,
Mich.) recently examined the changes happening
at the College through a series of stories in
its Sunday paper. [Note: Telegram stories are
