Adrian College Welcomes Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant posted 7/31/09
Ms. Hasna Bouibil joins the faculty this year from Morocco

ADRIAN, Mich. - Adrian College is pleased to announce that Ms. Hasna Bouibil, a Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant (FLTA) from Morocco, will be on-campus during the 2009-2010 academic year. Ms. Bouibil will replace Mr. Ali Bani Mustafa who served in the same capacity during the 2008-2009 academic year and left Adrian College on June 1, 2009 to return to Jordan.

The Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant is a one-year program sponsored by the U.S. Department of State to enable young educators from around the world to improve their English language proficiency and teaching skills. The program also allows American Colleges and Universities to benefit from the wide range of experiences and skills these young educators bring to their host campuses.

Ms. Bouibil’s assignments are to teach Arabic Language and Culture courses during the fall and spring semesters and to act as a resource person on Arab culture for the College community and the city of Adrian.
