Public skating sessions announced; season tickets go on sale for hockey teams

ADRIAN, Mich. – The Arrington Ice Arena at Adrian College will re-open for the 2008-09 skating season on Monday, July 14.

The arena will be open during July and August primarily for public events. Events include public open skates, drop-in hockey, men’s over 30 hockey league, drop-in broomball, and open figure skating sessions. The arena will also be available for summer birthday parties.

The ACHA men’s hockey team opens it season in September and the men’s & women’s varsity teams will begin play in October. Season ticket passes for all three teams will go on sale to the public Monday, July 14 at 9:00 A.M. Tickets can be purchased Monday-Friday, 9:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. by calling Kate Hamilton at 517-265-5161 ext. 5011.

Tickets will be sold on a first come first serve basis. Please note these ticket sales are for season passes only. Tickets for individual games will be made available for purchase on each Monday preceding home games.
