Creative Writing Contest
Winners Honored posted

ADRIAN, Mich. – The
Adrian College English Department held its annual
creative writing contest awards ceremony April
7 in Hickman Board Room.
Submissions were taken throughout
the first half of spring semester. Winners were
chosen a few weeks prior to the ceremony.
This year’s winners
were five females: senior Jessica Goddard, sophomore
Autumn Hernes and freshmen Rachael Williams,
Rebecca Spicer and Elizabeth Arnold.
Goddard won for two pieces
“The New Latin” and “La Luna,”
Hernes for “Left Behind,” Williams
for “500 Miles,” Spicer for “Carden
Island,” and Arnold for “Pendulum
Swings On.”
