Adrian College to Host Wheelchair Basketball Game posted 4/8/10
Men’s and women’s basketball teams to play the Canton Rollin Wheels

ADRIAN, Mich. – The Adrian College men’s and women's basketball teams will host a wheelchair basketball game as they take on the Canton Rollin Wheels on April 14, 2010, at 6:30 P.M. in the Merillat Sport and Fitness Center. 

The Rollin Wheels, a non-profit organization from Canton Mich., are donating their time and expertise to provide the college community with a fun experience as well as giving the audience an opportunity to see the word "athlete" from a different set of eyes. 

“It’s a fun yet educational experience for both the Adrian College campus as well as the entire community,” said Danielle Ward, disabilities specialist at the College.
 
The Rollin Wheels will be accepting donations at the door but it is not required for attendance. 
 
The public is invited to come out and cheer on the Adrian College teams as this is a great event for all ages and abilities. The AC Dance Team will also perform during halftime. The Merillat Sport and Fitness Center is located on Charles Street.
