Adrian College Welcomes Public to Open Rehearsal posted 4/6/10

ADRIAN, Mich. - The public is invited to an open rehearsal in Spencer Hall on
the Adrian College campus this Friday, April 9, from 4 to 5 pm.  The Adrian Symphony Orchestra's composer-in-residence, Kenneth Fuchs, will rehearse the Adrian College Band on his composition, "On Silver Wings," which was written for the United States Air Force Band.

The Adrian College Band will perform the piece in a concert in Dawson Auditorium on Sunday, April 18, at 3 pm. Dr. Fuchs is the Professor of Composition at the University of Connecticut and is graduate of the Juilliard School. This Saturday, the ASO will perform the world premiere of his composition, “Divinum Mysterium.”
