IN HONOR OF VIRGINIA TECH

Virginia Tech victims were honored during Adrian College's spring commencement on April 29. Thirty-two lilies in Virginia Tech's colors, maroon and orange, were placed at the front of the stage during the ceremony to honor the victims. The flowers were later planted on campus, placed in a ring to symbolize the circle of life we all share.

A MESSAGE TO VIRGINIA TECH

Immediately after the shootings, Adrian College posted the following message from the president.

It's hard to make sense of the recent events at Virginia Tech. As their campus community reels in the aftermath of this tragedy, we lift up prayers and condolences for the victims and their families.

As the world watches the story unfold, we join their calls for concern and sympathy. May the Virginia Tech campus know that the hearts and minds of our campus are with them.

Regretfully,

Jeffrey R. Docking
President, Adrian College
