Faculty Brown Bag Scholarship Series Comes to a Close posted 3/25/10
Dr. Janet Salzwedel gives last presentation of academic year.
ADRIAN, Mich. – Dr. Janet Salzwedel, Adrian College professor of biology and pre-health science advisor, will present “Elicitation of an Anticancer Compound from a Surprising Plant Source” at noon in Knight Auditorium on Tuesday, April 6. This will be the final lecture of the 2009-2010 Faculty Brown Bag Scholarship Series .
Salzwedel will take a look inside the process of drug development where agriculture, biochemistry and medicine intersect. She did her sabbatical work on this topic at the University of Toledo, Center for Drug Design and Development, and hopes to discuss her results during the lecture.
Knight Auditorium is located in Valade Hall which is located at the corner of S. Madison St. and Williams St. All sessions are free and open to the public.
