Alpha Phi and Alpha Tau
Omega host 5K run/walk to benefit the Alpha
Phi Foundation and The Hope Center.
ADRIAN, Mich. – Alpha
Phi and Alpha Tau Omega of Adrian College welcomes
the public to a 5k run/walk on April 4 at 3
P.M. The walk, which will last four hours, will
take place at the College’s track located
behind the Merillat Sports and Fitness Center
and will end at 7 P.M. Parking will be available
behind the softball fields.
Participants will have a chance
to take part in some small games and relays
during the run/walk. All money raised will go
to the Alpha Phi Foundation for cardiac care
and research as well as The Hope Center on behalf
of the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity.
The cost to register is $15
per person or $25 for a family; this will be
split between the two Greek philanthropies at
the end of the run/walk. Participants may register
the day of the event at the track; donations
can be made the day of the event as well. Donations
of any kind are greatly appreciated.
The Alpha Phi Foundation empowers
women to be generous givers. Money raised awards
funds for programs that advance leadership development,

heart health, support sisters in need, preserve
heritage and educate about the value of philanthropy.
