Students raise money for Hope Community Center

ADRIAN, Mich. - Adrian College presents its annual dance marathon this weekend, Mar. 29-30, 2008 at the Merillat Sport and Fitness Center. The marathon begins at 3:00 P.M. on Saturday and ends at 9:00 A.M. on Sunday.

The event, which includes Adrian College students dancing for 18 straight hours without breaks, is to raise money for the Hope Community Center in Adrian. Community members as well as students and faculty are encouraged to show their support by coming out to watch the dancers this weekend.

Participants are also still taking monetary donations. The Hope Community Center is a non-profit organization devoted to offering educational and recreational activities for local adults with physical, mental, or emotional impairments. All donations are greatly appreciated.

Checks can be made payable to ‘Adrian College Dance Marathon’ and sent to Adrian College Dance Marathon, 1325 William St., Caine Student Center, Adrian, MI 49221.
