High school student argues for
small schools like Adrian posted
3/19/07
In a March 15 letter to the editor
published in the Detroit Free Press, Bonnie Johnson,
a sophomore at Lahser High School in Bloomfield Hills,
used Adrian College as her example for how Michigan
should make a college education more available and affordable.
In a letter titled, “The small-college solution,”
she said Adrian’s financial aid packages illustrate
a college option that not enough
students know about.
Letters were submitted from students
in grades 6 through 12 as part of the paper’s
Newspaper in Education Program.
Thanks for helping to get the word
out, Bonnie.
