Announces Disabilities Awareness Week posted

ADRIAN, Mich. – The community
is invited to participate in the 2007 Disabilities Awareness
Week scheduled March 19-23 at Adrian College. The following
events are free and open to the public.
March 10 – 23
- Art Exhibit by Cody Miller
Miller’s
work has been exhibited nationwide, and he has received
numerous awards and honors. He has taught art at the
United Cerebral Palsy of Central Ohio since 1994.
He and his students will display some of their work.
Heritage Room, Shipman Library
Monday, March 19
- Stations with Disabilities and
PAWS dogs with the HOPE Center and Bev Lyell
Noon – 4 p.m., Caine Student
Center, main floor
Tuesday, March 20
- “Psychological Disabilities”
with the Community Mental Health Panel. (Feel free
to bring a sack lunch. Cookies and beverages will
be provided.)

- “Running Through Barriers,”
Amy Dodson
Amy is a
four-time national champion for female leg amputees
at the half marathon distance.
