Dance
Marathon To Raise Money For Cancer Center
Student Organization Seeks Help
from Community posted 3/13/07
ADRIAN, Mich. –Adrian College
students will “dance” for 18 hours straight
on March 30-31 to raise money for the Hickman Cancer
Center at Bixby Hospital.
Participants in the annual fund raiser
earn pledges to raise money for a good cause. “Dancing”
can involve many activities in addition to actual dancing,
such as basketball and games. The important thing is
for participants to stay on their feet.
Adrian College Dance Marathon is looking
for help from the community. On Sunday, March 18, a
community-wide bottle drive is scheduled. From 1-5 p.m.
students from the organization will go door-to-door
in Adrian collecting returnable beverage containers.
Should students miss your house, there
will be a drop-off box outside Caine Student Center,
located on Williams Street on the Adrian College campus.
Please save your cans and bottles and donate to the
cause.
If you would like to make a monetary
donation, you may do so by making a check out to Adrian
College Dance Marathon and sending it to Ashley Freese,
1155 Caine Student Center, 1325 Williams St., Adrian
MI 49221.
