“Stop Kiss" Takes the Stage at Adrian College

Theatre department announces winter performance

ADRIAN, Mich. - The Adrian College Theatre Department invites you to “Stop Kiss” by Diana Son on February 18, 19, and 20 in Downs Hall Theatre.

This poignant and provocative play explores the lives of two young women who meet and unexpectedly fall in love. Their first kiss provokes a violent attack that transforms their lives in a way they could never anticipate. The New York Timesdescribed it as “irresistibly exciting…a sweet, sad, and enchantingly sincere play.”

This production will play in the Downs Hall Theatre with Thursday and Friday performances at 8:00pm and Saturday performances at 2:00pm and 8:00pm. Ticket prices will be $7.00 for the general public and $5.00 for students, seniors and Adrian College staff.

Following each performance, artists from the production and members of the College community will host a panel discussion about the play, the issues it raises and the community's reaction.

Downs Hall is located off of Madison Street on the Adrian College campus.
