AC Jazz Ensemble to Perform posted 2/12/10

ADRIAN, Mich. - The public is invited to hear the Adrian College Jazz Ensembles and Jazz Combo in concert on the Adrian College campus in Dawson Auditorium on Sunday, Feb. 21 at 3 P.M. 

Both jazz ensembles will play a variety of jazz arrangements and compositions, including Broadway standards, the blues, and rock-influenced jazz. The Jazz Combo is a student-led ensemble featuring students Wil DeYoung, Ruben Villegas, and Jason Ransom. 

This event will also feature acclaimed jazz vocalist Kathy Kosins. She is a Detroit native who performs frequently with college and professional jazz ensembles. Kosins has received glowing reviews from the media nationwide. The bands will perform four custom arrangements written expressly for her.
