Multicultural Programs hosts brown bag lecture

ADRIAN, Mich. – The Department of Multicultural Programs at Adrian College is sponsoring a brown bag lunch entitled “What it’s Like to be a Black Male in Society: Myths, Stereotypes and Reality” on Tuesday, Feb. 23 at noon in the Hickman Board Room.

A panel of black male students will discuss their experiences being a black male in society, including experiences in Adrian. Panel members include Greg Bentley, Tim Peoples, and Tyler Wilson.

The students hope to debunk some myths from their personal experiences.

This event is free and open to the public. Everyone attending is encouraged to bring their lunch. The Hickman Board Room is located on the second level in Caine Student Center on Williams Street.
