SENIOR EXHIBITION posted 2/14/07
ADRIAN, Mich. – Adrian College
is pleased to present the first of three senior art
exhibits, a show of 2007 Adrian College graduating studio
art & design majors. The exhibition continues through
March 3 in Stubnitz Gallery.
Exhibitors include Bethany Camarati,
LeeAnn Dodde, Alicia Laeder, Ryan Tingler, and Stephanie
Witcher.
Stephanie Witcher is a 2003 graduate
of Galien High School in Galien, Mich. Her senior show
displays mythical characters through a variety of media.
LeeAnn Dodde is a 2003 graduate of
Grand Rapids Catholic Central High School in Grand Rapids,
Mich. Her senior show focuses on textile design, shibori-dyed
fabric torn and crocheted.
Alicia Laeder is a 2003 graduate of
Harbor Beach High School in Harbor Beach, Mich. Her
senior show focuses on paintings of her family farm,
highlighting connections between the past and present.
Bethany Camarati is a 2003 graduate
of Midpark High School in Cleveland, Ohio. Her senior
show focuses on textile design and the use of fashion.
Ryan Tingler is a 2003 graduate of
Oak Harbor High School in Oak Harbor, Ohio. His senior
show focuses on disfigurement using ceramic and encaustic
techniques.
A reception is scheduled in Downs
Hall on Feb. 18 at 1 p.m.
Stubnitz Gallery is located in Downs
Hall. Gallery hours are Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m.-4
