MENC presents a “Broadway Revue”

ADRIAN, Mich. - The Adrian College music department’s chapter of MENC (Music Educators National Conference) invites you to the 6th annual “Broadway Revue” at Adrian College.

This student-run organization felt that the “Revue” was a great way to allow Adrian College students another venue to showcase their talents. All proceeds from this year’s show will go towards the Adrian College Music Fund.

The “Revue” is directed by Jon Ciaramitaro, who is a junior at Adrian College. In addition, junior Zach Harris will be conducting the show, and freshman Shelley DeHosse will choreograph the show. This year’s performance will feature numbers from “The Lion King”, “Anything Goes”, “Aida” and many more. Auditions were held in November and 20 Adrian College students will perform in this years’ show. The cast will be accompanied by a student- conducted orchestra pit composed of students and faculty. Some of the soloists include Ashley Greer (freshman), Bridget Leary (senior) and Marcus Laban (junior). The performance will also feature dance and large chorus numbers.

The show will be held on Friday and Saturday, February 6 & 7 at 8 P.M. in Dawson Auditorium, located on the Adrian College campus. Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for students. Groups of eight or more who reserve their seats before January 30 will receive a discount price of $5. All reservations are available via e-mail at broadwayrevue09@yahoo.com.
