Martin Luther King, Jr. Dinner Scheduled posted 1/18/08

ADRIAN, Mich. - The 20th annual Lenawee County Martin Luther King Jr. Dinner Celebration (formerly a breakfast) is scheduled Monday, Jan. 21 at 6 p.m. in the Adrian Tobias Room on the Adrian College campus.

The keynote speaker is Jeffrey Miller, the Executive Producer, Principal Writer and Host of Jammin II’s Inc. productions. Miller is also a dynamic radio personality and a former columnist for a Metro Detroit newspaper syndicate.

In addition, the MLK Jr. Student Service Awards will be presented to this year’s recipients, Jomar Jackson, a senior at Adrian College and Ramon Sherrell, a senior at Siena Heights University. The event will also include recognition for outstanding service to the community by minority students and other community members.

The dinner is sponsored by Adrian College, Siena Heights University, the Lenawee Intermediate School District, and the Lenawee County community.

The Adrian Tobias Room is adjacent to Ritchie Dining Hall.
